Casa Perla is located in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, a Mexican fishing village situated on the Pacific Ocean's Bahía de Banderas in the state of Nayarit. It is situated approximately 12 miles from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. The town name comes from a cross that is made of Huanacaxtle wood which is located at the town's entrance.

Hi, my name is Sabrina and I'm an attorney and my husband, Lars, is in the healthcare industry in Central California. Casa Perla is our gem. We literally stumbled upon the little fishing village of La Cruz de Huanaxtle about 17 years ago as we were planning a vacation with our three children. We were looking to vacation near the beach in Mexico but wanted to experience an authentic Mexican town. La Cruz did not disappoint us on that trip many years ago and it has NEVER disappointed us since. We hope you enjoy the charm of Casa Perla and the authenticity of our fishing village.
